Just the other day when I go out for a dinner with my dad. He did told me about this famous seafood noodle which is located at Bercham. I like seafood noodle but I couldn't really find one in Ipoh which is really satisfying.
So, just this morning I purposely drove all the way to Bercham just to have a taste of this so claimed famous yet delicious seafood noodle.
It was an easy spot to locate the restaurant since it was just located right on the main road of Bercham.
As you drive along the Bercham main road from Makro towards Tg Rambutan or Giant, you may find this Restoran Wong Kee Fee right on your left. Yep, this is where you find the hideout of the famous seafood noodle stall is. You would find the stall at the middle shop lot here.
As I arrived to the stall, I picked a few pieces of these home made fried Yam Bean (Sar Kot in Cantonese). It was soft but the taste was pretty well mixed. They also have meat stuffed tofu and fish ball which seems to be delicious. Since I was all alone then, I wouldn't dare to order too many things.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present you with the legendary Bercham Seafood Noodle with Bitter gourd!
Frankly to say, I dislikes bitter gourd. But this time, I pull out my entire courage to have a taste on this seafood noodle WITH bitter gourd even though I could still ask for one without it. I mean, I think it is unique to have bitter gourd on a seafood noodle. Afterall, this is what makes them famous.
And you know what, I felt the bitter gourd taste pretty nice on this noodle and I started to fall in love with it. Argh... help me!
Within the bowl of delicious noodle, you would find prawns, squid, fish meat, some jelly fish (Hoi Jit), preserved mustard and of course, the bitter gourd, gosh I just can't stop mentioning it again and again.
You could also order dry noodle (Kon Lo) with a separate bowl of seafood while there is also Fish Head Noodle, Sliced Fish Meat Noodle and a few more orders for you to choose from.

And yeah, talking about the price, I ordered a cup of coffee, 3 pieces of that fried Yam Bean and a bowl of seafood noodle with bitter gourd, guess how much I paid?

it's quite expensive now compare last time.. now the son operate the stall and the food taste not as good when his father operate. the fried yam bean smaller and taste bland compare with last time it was so good. i eat all this food since i still in primary school.and the seafood and bittergourd in dry version is better.
When see ur 1st photo, the red sign board look like KFC punya sign board... haha

There's a really good seafood noodle in Chemor and the price is kinda cheap. I remember some floggers blog about that stall before. U can google for the directions coz I'm bad in terms of giving directions. :p
I try it in this raya loh, it is full house , wah...... I got a name card , but the restoran name is call NGAN WOH COFFEE SHOP (is the next door of restoran wong kee fee lah) it is because the sign board is inside the shop, So , everybody can't find it(NGAN WOH COFFEE SHOP).

I forget to tell you, fish head and fish tail (yu tou , yu mei ) and the home-made fish-ball . Not bad .

Yes, Ivy was rite about the shop name, is called NGAN WOH COFFEE SHOP (is in the middle among the shoplots, next to wong kee fee)...yum yum still can't forget the taste of the bitter gourd, the seafood and the "sar kot" cook in such a way... MUST TRY !!!
the best part... after drinking the soup serve with the noodles... you won't feel thirsty... thumbs up !!!
yes, the shop name was actually Ngan Woh, but like what Ivy said, the shop name could only be seen in the coffee shop itself :)

Enjoyed the seafood noodles with my family this morning. The groupa fish head is also very tasty. Not a drop of the soup was left in the bowl when we finished the morning meal !! ... and we fell in love with the bitter gourd too ... hahaha ...Thousand thanks to ipohchai
