I was at Cameron Highlands over the weekend with the whole family. I think this is the second time the whole family was at Cameron Highlands ever since my sister's wedding. It started to rain ever since we left Ipoh and it was pretty cold at Cameron Highlands in the afternoon.

This is my elder brother, setting up the fire for the Barbecue. Look at the mountains on the background, it was so beautiful.

Food is on the way ! Sausage, chicken wing, corn, sweet potato, sandwiches and many others. I was SO hungry looking at those things on the table, the only edible I could get is the sandwiches and some coleslaw. Argh... need food.. desperate

Usually, we will be using a barbecue stick, stab some sausage or chicken wing and then burn it on the fire but we ain't doing that way anymore this time.
Everything is wrapped in an aluminium foil and well just place it on the fire. This is much better and more efficient to get the food cooked. You wont over burn it into charcoal. You know, those over burned stuff leads to cancer.
You know, you wont get really hot in front of the fire, it was just so cold at Cameron Highlands at night. Even if it does hot, just walk a few steps away and you will start to feel cold again. Having a barbecue here is just really nice, don't have to get the whole body sweating just to eat a chicken wing.

My yummy grilled squid, prawn and ladies finger with delicious chilli paste. The best one was the grilled Ikan Kembung. I just can't get enough of it.
At the end of the night, almost everything was wiped out. Left only a small amount of food and the sweet potato.

It seems that the sweet potato is really hard to get it cooked on the fire. We thought selecting the smallest one would get it cook faster but noah... it is only good to boil it with water and it was SO sweet.

The coleslaw I did was entirely wiped out. It was a whole piece of cabbage there and everybody just love it.

And so as the grill fish chilli paste. I wonder how my sister made that paste. It was so delicious. Well, she refuse to teach me how to made such curry paste, WTH.
