This is one of the longest operating food court in Ipoh and the most active one. Known as Tung Ku Teng among Chinese, the Emas Food Center located in Ipoh Garden attracts hungry peoples by the thousands each evening. Although there has been many other new food center in Ipoh but none could ever beat this place.

Myself was a fans of this great eating place too and there are plenty of my favourites found here. Laksa, Popiah, Claypot Chicken Rice, Fried Noodle, Satay, Grill Fish, Curry Mee, Seafoods, Bak Kut Teh, Pandan Rice and the list could just goes on and on.

Tables are abundance here, but it could be fully seated during weekend or holiday time. I have stand there inside the food center a couple of times waiting for seats before.

The infamous curry mee here. Served with cockles and chicken meat.

This is my favourite stall, Meng Wa Seafood.
It's not that I'm here for a seafood dinner with rice and so on, but I only hunt for their delicious seafood dishes.

Lots of fresh seafood here, want to pick some?

U-La-La, my favourites. This is black pepper crab from the Meng Wa Seafood. They also serve a very nice Steam Oyster Sauce Crab, got to try that too.

O-Chien or fried oyster with egg. Yummy.

Fried Low She Fun. There is a fried noodle stall here which is very nice. I have tried a few different fof their fried noodle, no flaw.
Also, you might want to try the Pandan Rice too. The rice is cooked with Pandan leaves juice and it is served with some curry dishes of your choice. Very nice. But got to be early, always find they're sold off early.
