I remember sometimes back I've been to a restaurant at 1 Utama, KL with this name, Chatter Place. Seems that it is spreading it's wing to Ipoh now.
Note that this restaurant does not serve Halal food.
The restaurant is located at GreenTown, Ipoh behind Stairway fun pub. It is located in the middle of the shop lot and you could see it with a dim yellowish lighting inside it.
The environment in the restaurant was nice, there isn't lots of tables available in the restaurant so you would get a very comfortable and quiet place to chat with your companion.
Varieties of foods are available here such as chops, steaks, Hongkie style noodle, snacks etc etc... can't remember them all

Oriental Pork Chop which I ordered. You should really try this one. Absolutely recommended.

Tom Yam Bee Hoon. The taste for the Tom Yam is not as "Kaw" for my liking. But if you do not prefer extreme Hot and Sour, this may be good for you.

A crispy fried sotong (squid) for snack. Yum Yum...

The price is fairly reasonable and whats great about Chatter Place is that there is no hidden charge such as service charge or Gov Tax. You just pay accordingly for what you've ordered. Well I really like this one.
