Chinese New Year Coming

As I just got down from my car this morning, I notice something something jumping on the grass outside my house.
Hmm... wouldn't it be another big cockroach jumping there huh!

I approach the black colored insect to see what it was and guess what.

There is this Cicada outside my house. You know, Cicada only could be found when the Chinese New Year is approaching.

Some say, Cicada was the loudest singing insect, perhaps it's true. Male Cicada singing could be heard from far away. When I was a kid, I like to grab these Cicada and it would produce noise, funny though.
Cicada are abundance when I was a kid time. You could find a few of it flying around the street lamp during the night but nowday, I could hardly spot one.

Well, Chinese New Year is approaching already. What preparation you have made? During the recent years, CNY decoration stuff are getting more and more and lightings, lanterns and stuff is becoming another trend where more house hold would do on CNY.

I have started to shop for some decoration weeks ago. I like going to these shops cos they're so colorful.

Lights, flowers, lanterns and stuff are abundance. It's the year of mouse on this upcoming CNY and Mickey Mouse decorations are everywhere.

I was the early bird in setting up decorations on my home's balcony. So flashy! So, have you started to decorate your house?
