Going Korea Everland Theme Park

We are here at the largest theme park in South Korea, the Everland. At first glimpse, one would think this is Disneyland looking at its buildings, atmosphere, theme and its massive scale. Well, you are not going to find Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck here because this is… well, Everland.

It is now December and the entire theme park is decorated to celebrate the upcoming Christmas. There is a very strong Christmas atmosphere flowing everywhere and the place was just so beautiful.

Everland is divided into five different area consists of the Global Fair, ZooTopia, European Adventure, Magic Land and the American Adventure. Each zone allow you to experience different kind of adventure and fun.

We were just in time to catch the Christmas Parade at the theme park. Here comes the Santa Claus leading the parade.

Followed with a few more nicely decorated vehicles and dancers wearing colorful costumes.

Some rain deer shaped decoration. At the back drop, the T Express roller coaster drive. It is one of the world’s wooden rail roller coasters and has the steepest record at 77 degrees drop. The exhilarating drive last exactly for 3 minutes and one’s get to feel the force up to 4.5G. if you really up for some extreme thrill, this is it.

We took a safari ride along the Zoo to see some animals. Hmm.. what is that cat doing on top of the Rover?

White tiger. There are a few of these in the safari. The zoo also has an animal called Liger. It is a mixed between a lion and tiger. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to witness the animal this time.

There are many others animals in the Zootopia to look for such as Galapagos tortoise, squirrel, various primates, parrot, seal, penguin and so on.

The American Adventure zone was filled with some thrilling ride.

The time flash off so fast that it was already approaching evening. Wifey got so excited inside the park especially during the Christmas parade. Looking at those thrilling roller coasters in the park, I felt I was really wanted to get a ride of a lifetime there but seems time doesn’t allow me. Just can’t help myself wanted to explore more places in the vast theme park though.
The Everland also reside South Korea’s first racing track, the Everland Speedway.
You could also find South Korea’s largest water park here called the Caribbean Bay here at the Everland. Unfortunately, it doesn’t open on winter since it was so cold now.

Our visit to Everland end at 4:00pm and we head towards Seoul, the capital city of South Korea to visit the Namsangol Hanok Village.
