Good Times steamboat buffet restaurant located at Greenhill Ipoh.
Theres a whole lots of varieties for you to choose from and this restaurant serve Chiok aka Pork as well.
Fried stuff are no good for health but they're the most irresistible one. I found that their fried chicken wing taste very good!
Veggies are good for digestion, so do grab a lil bit more on those. If you eat too much meat stuff and not willing to eat some veggies, you will sure end up cannot pangsai I'telya.
They have 4 option of soup base where you could pick any 2 of it;
Grouper fish head soup a.k.a. clear soup
Tom Yam soup a.k.a. spicy soup
Herbal soup a.k.a. bitter soup
Porridge a.k.a. not a soup
I choose the Tom Yam which is rather nice and the duno-wat-fish head soup. Too bad, they don't have those Shabu-Shabu or Kim Chi soup here.
The best thing about this eat-all-you-can buffet, you can just keep topping up your food with your favourites stuff. Feel your stomach full? Just sit down and have some good time chatting with your companion and you can still do the top up thing later on. Time is the only limit and you have a few hours time for that.
And yeah, how about some ice cream for dessert.

I ain't feel like writing lately, maybe because i spent too much time doing some programming stuff recently and felt a lil bit bored to the computer and keyboard already.
I just updated my blog program with a new written program with some more useful feature.
I still have a few blog posting pending a weeks by now but I don't really feel I could write something interesting about it now.

Good Times is a bit over-rated for me. the porridge soup base is too diluted. One of my friend had an 'accident' there, when the fan on the wall actually fell on her head. guess what the owner/waiters did? NOTHING. they were too busy fixing the fan to even care about her. luckily not hurt ...

dear all.. i had a terrible experience with this place yesterday!!! [12 7/2011]
the staff were not courteous and this lead to their bad customer service. we arrived there at 630pm without any booking.
the whole place was empty only one table which had people.
1. we wanted to sit inside - they said need to book.
2. we chose another table outside - the lady staff did not say anything but the 'foreign' worker said it is booked.
3. when we chose a place another side - the lady staff said it is also booked.
imagine we were walking in circles and they did NOT guide us to a table.
we got fed up and LEFT THE PLACE. and they just look at us - without knowing what is wrong.
if the whole restaurant is booked - just let us know. dont make us walk around like blind mice looking for a seat.
reading all the review it states so good and so on - when we wanted to try - this was the scenario.
u can all bet i will NOT go there anymore and will pass the 'great news to my friends... imagine the power of the mouth....
what a bad reputation to ipoh :(
