Personally, I don't like gambling but that doesn't mean that myself never or will not getting involve in gambling activities. I would say, I will try avoid it as much as possible. Perhaps it was due to that I never ever has the luck to win anything, thats why I turn up to dislikes gambling.

But then, there are people who turn losing into courage to get themselves into losing more and more than they could afford. As long as they still could find a thing to put into the bet, they believe they still stand a change to get back everything they lost. Well, I don't know, from my point of view, that is really stupid. If going out from a casino losing every single penny in their pocket isn't enough, they would even end up bringing home with a pile of debt from mr. loan shark a.k.a Ah Long.

Most of you have read and heard such stories from the media but for me, it was a real experience. No, its not me who getting into gambling debt, its just someone close to me. And thats make me even hate gambling more.

I know it is not the gambling stuff that get people into such trouble but it was those particular peoples themselves who could not control their addiction and greed.

How to win at Casino

I enter the casino even before I reach the legal age to enter them. It is not that I wanted to much to goes there to place my bet but just wanted to see hows a casino really looks like. There has been a lots of rumors of how easy it is to make some quick bucks out of casino but I'm always skeptical on these statements. Gambling at casino is very straightforward, you place your bet and see if they took your bet away of pay your bet, thats all!

Some of my friends likes gambling than anything else on earth and they believe they really can make some bucks out of casino with some smart ideas.

The Double Up Bet
This is the very first ideas they had when gambling at Casino. Just double up the bet every time they lose and start back with initial bet amount every time win. For example, the first bet amount is $10, if you lose, double up to $20 on the next bet, if still lose then double up again to $40 on the next bet and so on.
Let say you limit your bet to maximum 5 rounds. If you win any of the bet within 5 rounds, you win $10 but if you happen to be very bad luck and lose all the 5 round, you actually lose a total amount of;
10 + 20 + 40 + 80 + 160 = 310

There is once that I saw a young gambler putting up a huge amount of bet with the strategy as above. I was there playing on Big-Small on a low betting table as I always did. I always only bet $5 just for the sake of burning the time waiting for my friends.
Well, this young man has been on the table for just a while winning some and losing some. Perhaps over the time he got stressed because he ain't winning anything much so he increase his bet. He lose, yet he pull out another bet with double the amount. He losses again and he pulled out his wallet with a pile of $100 notes and dump it onto the table. It doesn't takes long that it came to the grand finale, he pulled out 5 pieces of $1000 notes and bet it on. That was the maximum limit of bet for the table.
Well, the young man end up leaving the table scratching his head. It's just a mere 30 minutes and he just increased the wealth of the Casino boss, Uncle Lim by another 10k.
If I lose $10,000, I think I will got berserk instantly!

So, its obvious that the gain is very little and the stakes are so much. It just takes 1 freaking bad luck round to make you lose everything. Eventually, my friends realize that this idea wasn't that good and they scrap this idea and think of other strategy to win.

The Casino Feng Shui factor

As we all may know, Casino emphasize heavily on Feng Shui, even foreign country's Casino believe strongly in Feng Shui. My friends always told me not to look at the ceiling before entering the Casino and not to do this and that just to prevent bad luck. Well, when you have no strategy, you could only believe on superstitious things. Go get a red underwear or don't wear underwear at all and perhaps that would break their Feng Shui :)

Gambling for living

There has been stories that there are some individuals who profession was a gambler. Their daily job is going to Casino and gamble. They're smart and they only target a specific amount of win and they're off the place.
Well, I never know any of these peoples though. Everyone I know who goes gambling at Casino lose badly.

All of all, no matter how hard you think of new strategy to win, the winner has already been fixed on the very first day. It's the Casino, they're always the winner.

Gambling could turn into a very damaging addiction and it could ruin your life. But if you still want to enjoy gambling as some sort of entertainment, know your limit and never cross the border. You will be happier that way.
