Impiana Hotel Ipoh

Formerly known as Impiana Casuarina, this renowned 4 star class hotel is going through a complete makeover featuring some additional facilities that gives you a few more reasons to stay here. Here is what the new stuff.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh

1st of December 2009 marked a new history to the Impiana Casuarina Hotel where it changed its name to Impiana Hotel Ipoh with the change of ownership. Over this switchover, some of deluxe room and executive suite have undergone refurbishment and giving a new look with a touch of ‘Zen’ that give you a homely feeling. Among the changes which took place over this refurbishment including upgrades on all the 200 guest rooms, upgrades on the outdoor surrounding, introduction of new facilities including a new F&B outlet, Wellness Spa, Gymnasium, Fun Pub and an Executive Club Lounge.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh Garden

This all new Impiana Hotel will be featured as a ‘Garden Retreat within the city’ which allows every guest to experience the relaxation feel over its lush gardens surrounding the hotel. Well, green is good. It does give me peace of mind looking at the green surrounding of the hotel. It just doesn’t feel like I was sitting in a hotel in the heart of the city.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh Lobby

At first glance, much have changed inside the Hotel and I see renovation works is still on going to upgrade the facilities. With the new management team, the Impiana Hotel Ipoh is shedding its shell to bring back the glorious moment this building has once honored in the past.

I was thrilled to be invited to get some real experience on the refurbished feature of this hotel and it somewhat quite impressive. This building has been standing for move than a quarter of a century long and there is much to say about its nostalgic memoirs. But much has changed over the time and with the current makeover, we are seeing a huge step of changes with a touch of a modern inspiration.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh The Bistro

I had lunch at their newly introduced F&B outlet, The Bistro which is located at the lobby level. Their head chef is flown straight from Italy but The Bistro offers a variety of Ala Carte dishes as well as set lunch. I had the 3-Course Carvery Set Lunch and it was a good meal.

For dinner, The Bistro offers the 4-Course “Provincial Fare” Set Dinner specially created by their Executive Chef, Ricky Parlanti.

For the wine enthusiast out there, The Bistro also offer some Premium Wine served with delicious Hot or Cold Tapas between 6.00 to 7.00 pm.

As the name suggest, The Bistro does more than just a place to have nice and fine food but it was also a happening place to hang out at night. There is live band performance at The Bistro every Monday to Saturday by their live band duo, Mac & Zel.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh Garden Terrace

For those who are craving for varieties of local and international cuisines, step into the Garden Terrace where they serve buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner as well as Hi-Tea at and affordable price. The Garden Terrace is located right next to the lobby counter.

Impiana Hotel Ipoh Swimming Pool

Do you known that the Impiana has the largest Hotel swimming pool in Ipoh? Well, that is what I been told. At the time of my visit to the hotel, the swimming pool area looks rather deserted. There will be a facelift going on at the swimming pool area to make the deserted area a heavenly garden. Okay, I’m maybe over praised it but for sure, it will change into something beautiful.
In fact, Impiana Hotel Ipoh is now open up membership subscription for its swimming pool facility where members also get whole lots of other benefit.
Do check out my next post.
