Jcard member day for shoppaholics

19th July 2007 was the Jcard member's day sale at Jusco. It was a day for shopaholics who likes burn out some those extra cash in their wallet. I never attend the Jcard members day before but I was told it was a real-crowded day and with more and more people join in as a Jcard members year after year, it is getting even more crowded.

Ya know, I have friends and colleagues who purposely took leave just for the sake of going shopping that day. I could see both my colleagues went absent from work that morning alone. Now you see how addicting shopping could be. Some I heard spent like 10 hours inside there in the shopping mall. I think I can't even stay 2 hours inside there.

But this year, I have to pay a visit there. No, I'm not a shopaholic and I'm not a Jcard member too but I was there just to redeem some vouchers for my sister.
Just the day before, I went to Jusco to apply to be a Jcard member. Registration was fast and it just cost RM12 per year.

I was there at the afternoon, knowing that it would be traffic and parking problem within the Kinta City mall, I tried to use other path but somehow I have to park like half mile away. I just can't get closer anymore.

Discount discount and more discount. Everything was on discount that day ranging from 10 to 70 percent discount. Everything is for grab while stock last so, gotta be fast and don't spend time thinking.

The most crowded spot certainly would be the cashier. The queue was damn long Itelya. Everyone is buying like 10 to 20 items and I don't know how long they have to wait just to pay the items.

Instead of the crazy discount all over the place, you can even redeem shopping vouchers. For every RM100 spent, you are entitle to redeem a Jusco shopping voucher worth RM10. Yeah, you actually get back 10% of what you spent in shopping vouchers, just what else could be better huh! There are several rows of counters open for redemption all over the shopping mall.

Here, just look at the shopping vouchers I got. Woah, I could go for another shopping spree again.
