My luggage has already reached its maximum load. One of the handle has already loose couple of days ago and it will be wiser to reduce some loads on the luggage before things get worst. I had an extra hand carry bag to keep all the shopping stuff and that itself has almost taken all the space available. I started to get worry that if we were to buy more stuff at China, where am I supposed to keep it??
The final day of our Korea leg has arrived and it is time to say goodbye and head to our next destination at China. We woke up an hour late than our usual day to have our breakfast before heading straight to the airport at Incheon.
Andy, the local guy who happens to follow us along the trip took out the photo print out he made for his business. As usual, this photo comes with a hefty price although it is still up to yourself whether you want it or not. No harm if you doesn’t want to buy any of the print out.
Each of the 5R size photo cost 5000 won or about RM16. Hmmm… it’s a good business huh.
Our flight to Pudong International Airport at Shanghai is scheduled in the afternoon. Well, I’m going to missed Korea and the excitement I had here. Not sure if I would ever have a chance to come back here again but then, South Korea is really a good place to be.
Our flight meal comprised of rice served with sweet and sour fish fillet. A hard-as-rock duno-wat bun and some refreshment.
We touch down at the Pudong International Airport at Shanghai in the evening and we head straight to Suzhou. Suzhou is one of the most beautiful cities in the Jiangsu province in China. This is my second visit after my winter honeymoon about 5 years ago. The city is well known for its beautiful canal village and home garden.
It was already started to get dark when we stop by at the Jinji Lake to see the beautiful night scenery of the lake and Suzhou’s Bird Nest.
The Jinji Lake (golden chicken lake) in Suzhou at dusk.
The Suzhou Bird Nest.
As the sky getting darker and the colorful lights lit up across the lake, the scenery becoming more and more beautiful. The weather here was very good and it is not as cold as Korea.
We had our first dinner at Suzhou. Unlike Korea, eating at China comes with a full course meal and tonight, it is 8 dishes and soup. No more steamboat nor cold fermented vegetables aka kimchi.
Our first full course dinner. Now this is what we call eating big.
Bravo! Da best meal ever. Having be able to taste some food which has similarities of what we had at home is luxurious. We wipe out everything served on the table.
We were brought to the market at Guan Qian Jie for some shopping. Its already night time and its getting cold. Here is the famous shop selling snacks and candy.
We left the night shopping spree late in the evening and check in to our hotel. Its another day passed and two more days to go before our whole journey complete. Tomorrow, we will be visiting the beautiful garden of Couple’s Retreat Garden
