Life Goes On With Atopic Dermatitis

There are several common reason why my son's skin would turn into acute conditions;

• Weather: It has been really hot lately and when the weather become hot, his skin will start to turn red. Those tiny red dots and patches will turn out of nowhere causing irritation.
• Stress: At one time, he seems to be a very good boy playing all by himself but suddenly, he would start crying and roll over the place. And then, his body will start to turn color, just like the Incredible Hulk except he was in red.
• Low Humidity: In order to counter the hot weather, I would usually keep him on an air-cond room. As you might know, air-cond is dry and that will simply makes his skin drier.
• Environment: Yeah, it is very important to keep the place clean and wipe all those dust away. This has got us couple busy most of the time.

The skin of those who has Atopic Dermatitis usually have a low capability to hold water, therefore their skin is always dry and would peel off. Uses of skin moisturizer is very important to ensure that the skin always get moisturized.

Oral medication could only reduce the reddish skin but it can't get rid of the disease. It is only to be taken when acute happens. It has been several days that my boy taken medicine and now he looks completely well :)
