The Evangelion animated series were first launched in 1995. The 26 episode anime was a real hit throughout the world and eventually the term EVA set into every Evangelion's fans.
Well, I was one of the great fans of Evangelion too. The anime is not only set out a hit in the animation industry, it also appeared into the famous Super Robot Wars games.
as I heard there are some reborn of this anime few days back, I did some search online to get some latest news on this favourite animation and I was surprised that there will be a real action movie which will be up onto the big screen probably next year.
The Evangelion movie is produced by ADV Films and GAINAX would be featuring EVA 00, EVA 01 and EVA 02.
Gosh I can't wait to watch this movie.

This is not the actual trailer. They haven't even begun actual production (as in, filming) yet. This is one of many fan made examples of what the trailer 'could' be like. You can find plenty of these on Youtube.
As of now, hardly any info is public; director, cast, filming schedule, release date, etc. You can visit WETA's website to keep an eye out for updates.
