Paintball Game In Ipoh

There we are, 14 peoples in total going for out first paintball game. Well, although couple of them has been played before but for most of us like myself has never been into this kind of game before. It sound interesting and for guys like us who like some adventure and challenge, it certainly going to be fun.

Our playfield located near the Kinta Free Industrial Zone at Tasek which is nearby where our work place is. The battlefield happens to be in this bush.

Before the game start, let’s get a group photo. Everyone was so excited going onto the battlefield.
Safety equipment is important and everyone must wear a goggle and safety vest to prevent any injury onto our face. Also, you don’t want to get a whole bunch of love bite on your body after the game right.

Marshall is loading pellet into each gun known as the marker. Everybody gets about 100 plus pellet before going into the game. Since most of us were new into the game, there is no specific mission or objective. Just split into two group and shoot each other until no ammunition left. Just for the sake of fun.

Marshall is giving a briefing too everybody about safety and some basic rules which everybody should follow to ensure the game is fun and no incident would happen.

Let the -game- war begin!
We spent most of our time being in an office which is so clean and house which is so tidy but now it is time to get dirty. Running around in the bushes, crawling on the dirty ground and gotta be careful with the cow dung too.
Those who doesn’t like themselves get dirty, just stay at home okay.

Paintball is a serious game and there are even international tournament going on every here and then. Although the gun shoots only a small rubber ball filled with color liquid but it is seriously pain when it hits your body. Even with proper protective attire, one would still get some bruises somewhere on their body after the game.

Here comes our commando crawling out of nowhere.

The other part of the line. Keep shooting until your ammo run out. Nobody dies here. Each round last for about 15 minutes before everyone running out of ammunition.

Taking a short break before the next round start. We played three round of paintball before all our bullets running out. It was fun for everybody.

A very cool looking paintball marker. The price for paintball marker were expensive but it looks really tempting. This marker cost at least RM4000 with the accessories on. No kidding. So, one got to be really in love with this sport to get themselves their own gear. Not sure if the government is taxing these stuff excessively but it seems to cost just a few hundred bucks in the western country.
I wish I could order one from Ebay but I’m sure it won’t get through the custom.
