This is the restaurant which I like to visit the most. I have wanted to blog about it long ago but didn't really got a chance to visit there. Though I have tried to be there for a few times but it was so pack that I have to change my mind to dine else where.

Remeber my blog about Yin Fai Kee seafood earlier. I did mentioned that I was planned to dine here but I ended up crossing the street to have seafood there instead. So, this 2 restaurant was just located opposite each other.
It was yesterday after some cave temple touring around Ipoh and a shopping session, I decided to head to this restaurant. It was already past 1.00pm so I guess there shouldn't be lots of people then. Fortunately, I still manage to get a table though the restaurant was still sort of full. There aren't many table there in this small restaurant so it would be wiser to avoid coming over here during peak hour.
Although the place were fully seated, it doesn't take long till the dishes to serve onto our table.

Their specialty dish Kon Chin Kai or chicken fried in soy sauce, something like that la ok. The chicken meat were fried in soy sauce till dry leaving a thick layer of very fine tasty sauce covering the chicken meat. Thumbs up for their specialty dish.

Curry Asam Fish is my favourite dish here. It's sour and spicy taste really open up my appetite. You could order the curry with sting ray, fish head, grouper while in this case it was a 'Ma Yau' fish (threadfin I suppose). This is certainly a delicious dish.

Something fishy is covered behind those fluffy meat-floss-like butter milk. The dish were Butter Squid. Yum Yum...

Tofu in minced pork for our tofu fans. I was surprised when I ask the waitress (aunty la) of what tofu dishes they have. She keep on saying one dish after another, claypot tofu, mapo tofu, steamed tofu, sizzling tofu, fried tofu...
until like 12 dishes being mentioned before I stop her to mention more.
Me : Woah aunty, you got so many tofu dish ar? I cannot remember so many thing u say la
Aunty : We have more than 10 differrent tofu dish for your preference. Which one you wan to order?
Somehow, I leave the dicision to someone else coz I dun wan to hear no tofu stories from the aunty anymore.
Of all the previous visit to this restaurant, I didn't find any flaw on thir dishes. It was all remarkably delicious and the whole family likes it so much.
So, what's the price to pay for these remarkable food? Well, everything sum up to RM64.50 for the 5 of us including drinks.

Let me FYI some info.
The cook if my parent remember correctly was once cook at the shop opposite fair park hotel (now know as Wong Kok restraurant) then they most to the ground floor of the small hotel oppsite their current location along Anderson road.
Well it used to be good but the kitchen is horrifying. Now the setup is better but some how I found something was missing on the feeling now.....its not that good anymore.
