Soon Lee Bak Kut Teh

You know, when I was in secondary school over a decade ago, there would be an prolonged assembly on every Friday. The assembly would go on at least an hour and it was a very + extremely boring session. What not, teachers are taking turn to give their speech, and they're talking about the same ole issue every each week.

So, what is the boring assembly has to do with Bak Kut Teh here? Well, I remember there is a group of student at school which I would say, extremely anti the assembly. They would be spending their time at this Bak Kut Teh restaurant which located behind our school and enjoy a good meal. Until the bell start to ring, it school time.

OK, lets talk about this Bak Kut Teh restaurant. If you know where is Sam Chai primary school which is next to the Sek Menengah Jalan Pasir Putih, Soon Lee Bak Kut Teh is just nearby the Sam Chai school entrance.

Soon Lee Bak Kut Teh is located right at the junction to Sam Chai primary school. I remember those day it was so crowded during weekend. I pay a visit here last Saturday but it seems to be pretty quiet. Is it I'm late cos it was 10am already or is the business here isn't as good as it used to be?

My favourite yew char koay. Love to dip this inte the soup and it taste really great. Such a great combination.

Delicious vegetable with fragrant oil and soy sauce. Rather than eating all those meaty stuff, having some plain vege is good for digestion.

Yeah, here's the Bak Kut Teh. It's hot boiling and it looks delicious.

Of course, there got to be this shredded hot chilli to add up some Ummmph! to the meal.

Actually, this is only the second time I have Bak Kut Teh here. Haha, it was more than a decade that I know this place but never really been here before. I remember the first time was during my friend's wedding. He just stay near by the place.

Bak Kut Teh at Soon Lee was nice but somehow I still prefer Sun Tong Chew over this one.
