This CNY Flowers

Over the past few years I'll be getting flowers. Not from my admirer nor my wifey, but my sister will deliver some flowers just before Chinese New Year. Since my brother-in-law has a nursery in Cameron Highlands, they will just give away some of the flowers to friends and families once their shipment completed.

Flower business has been overwhelming this year. Shipment started a bit early thus completed quite early too. Now, they will be busy going around for shopping and delivering flowers to friends.

During my recent visit to the nursery, all the flowers is still yet to bloom. But now, I guess there isn't anything left there anymore.
A blooming Yellow Chrysanthemum. Well, this flower does grow big isn't.

And a White Chrysanthemum too.

Usually, these Chrysanthemum plant will be ship like this. The flowers will be cap with a small net to prevent it from blooming immediately. Once the net was removed, the flower would bloom to max within a day or two.

There are also other kind of flowers-which-I-duno-wat-name like this one. The call it "Sau Kau Far" in Cantonese. Once bloom, the whole cluster of flowers form a spherical round shape, like a Cauliflower.

There it is, the whole bunch of flowers on my house's porch. Well, it going to look nice along the Chinese New Year though. After that, it going to end up in that DiLarang Membuang Sampah place la.
Hey I'm not trying to be cruel, but most of these plants will commit suicide right after CNY, it hates not weather like Ipoh and it rather die than live here.

Lime tree tends to bring prosperity meaning for Chinese. You see loads of this during the festive season. This year, I got another one and this is the third lime tree I got.

I still have all the previous year's lime tree with me. It seems that they're tough guy who doesn't want to die, unlike those flowers.

A couple of week ago, when the weather was so damn hot. I didn't water the lime tree and over the night, all it's leaves fall off. But it still doesn't die ! Instead, it is blooming with lime flowers now.

The freaking lime tree has all it's flowers blooming on the tree. Quite nice though
