Trip to Yunnan China pt 10-Dali TianLongBaBu Movie City

It's already the 7th day of the trip and we are at Dali now. Today trip will be visiting the Tian Long Ba Bu Movie City.

A group of performer perform at the main gate as opening ceremony to the movie city everyday.

Just after entering the main gate I saw this poster on the wall. Ah, a wanted criminal huh.

There are 2 session of performance in this city everyday. One on the morning when the city is open and another session at 2.00pm. You shouldn't miss the performance though.

The 'Bride' hurling the bouquet to the spectator from the balcony. The lucky person who catch the bouquet will get to become the bridegroom.

Lion dance started right after the the 'new couple' get married.

Gosh, its sure difficult to do this long-jumping stunts. Kids, don't try this at home ok !

They're professional, flying in the sky like this wouldn't give them much problem. But like I said, kids, don't try this at home ok!

Oh shit! The 'policemen' are out looking for wanted criminal. Yeah, he is holding the wanted poster I saw just now when I enter the city.

Somehow, they found the criminal and after some chase and kung fu scene, the criminal was locked up. The public was once again safe. Oh, do I need to say they live hapily ever after? noah.

The Palace. You could become the emperor here instantly. Just pay them 10 bucks to rent a royal emperor costume and you become the next emperor of China.

You could also try this never-hit-target arrow shooting. It's not like using those modern archery gear we found at the arcade. This one is hard to use. However, if you get to hit the target, you going to get a furby stuff.

Yep, you going to get this cute little furby bull ! Holy cow!

Oh yeah, there's also the Kung Fu stunts performance.

It cost only RMB 10 per person for a horse cart ride on the outer part of the movie city. The scenery around the place was beautiful and partially, there is still construction goind on in certain area for new movie scene.

The Tian Long Ba Bu Movie City in Dali was a very interesting place to visit and you gotta be there when you visit Dali. The movie city was so lively with all the performances and peoples with ancient time costume walking all around makes you feel like travel back to the ancient China.

Dali also has a famous annual festival which is the San-Yue-Jie or Third-Month-Festival. It is held on the third month every year and there is a street here which will open for all kind of business. It is a grand open market which attracts millions of visitors each year.
