Its the third day now and we're at the Stone Forest. We will be heading back to Kunming today and there is no plan to visit anywhere as of today! Actually, we were given 2 optional activity for today. First one is to visit the Sand Forest which will cost RMB 180 per person and the second one is to watch a show tonight at Kunming. Since we have already visited the Stone Forest which is the most beautiful scenic area in Kunming, I guess the Sand Forest would not be much impressive anymore.
So, on the way we goes heading back to Kunming. We passby the Stone Forest scenic park and saw long queue of visitors and bus. Yeah, our tour guide was right, this place was terribly pack during morning.

A narrow railway along the mountain in Kunming. This railway was built by the French to transport its nature's resources to Vietnam long ago.

On the way back to Kunming, we stop by at a crystal shop. I bought a pair of crystal sunglasses which I fell quite comfortable wearing it. I cost RMB 80 per pair.

Our lunch for today will be Yunnan's famous Guo Qiao Mi Xian (Over Bridge Yunnan Rice Noodle)

Looking at the buildings here, I thought I was at Thailand now instead.
All right, let see what is all about the famous Over the Bridge roce noodle of Yunnan.

Nah, firstly you will be served with a BIG bowl of soup. Its just plain soup and it was hot! Do not attempt to touch it ok.

Then you gotta put the meat, vegetables and rice noodle into the bowl of soup.

There you go, the famous Yunnan over the bridge rice noodle!
No, it doesn't just stop here. It isn't just a bowl of noodle but instead, its a whole banquet of dishes served with a bowl of rice noodle.

Yeah, vegetables, mushrooms, donkey meat, meat ball, fish etc etc. Oh, did I said Donkey meat! Geeze, they even have donkey meat here.

Herbal Chicken soup.

This odd looking preserved vegetable only available in certain season. It taste quite well too.

Meat ball stick!

Water Melon.

This is 'their' type of Lemang or glutinous rice which is cooked in bamboo stick. But I still liked our Lemang.
After the yummilicious lunch, we walked around the garden here. It was so beautiful.

A peacock is displaying it's enchanting tail.

It was just another 30 minutes drive where we reached Kunming city. The next destination was the Jia Meng Flower Market in Kunming. Kunming produce lots of beautiful flowers along the year and you could find all the flowers here at the Jia Meng Flower market.

Jia Meng Flower market has 2 section. The outer section was selling the fresh flowers while the internal section is selling flower products and souvenirs.

Wah, look at those colorful flowers. It was pretty cheap buying flowers here. Most visitors would be buying flowers in boxes including our Malaysian visitors.

Specially decorated bouquet of flowers.

Some souvenirs and seeds.

The inner section of the flower market has various types of plastic flower too.

It also sells various kind of chinese medicine herbs such as LingZhi.
As we done at the Jia Meng Flower Market, the sun start to set and its time for dinner. We had steamboat at Kunming. The dishes mainly consist of various types of mushrooms.

I saw this beautiful bride outside a restaurant greetings on the guest for her wedding dinner. I heard in China, wedding makes money. Yeah, it seems that the guest's Ang Pau is pretty heavy here. So, at the end of the wedding, the couple would be earning a handsome amount of Ang Pau money.
Unlike our Malaysian Chinese wedding. Its going to take a huge part of your wealth away. At the end of the wedding, the couple would probably go Pokai.

Unless you are filthy rich then you could even afford to have a super-luxurious-limo like this one.

Our Mushroom Steamboat dinner. They have so many types of mushroom all dumped into the pot.

We watched a show at night. It was a cultural dancing performance and I felt it was kinda boring. The uncle who seat beside my wifey fall asleep at the middle of the show. Yeah, guess it was that boring. And it cost RMB 180 for each person! No Kidding!

Yeah, bubye. That is just what I most anticipated along the show. Can't wait to get back to the hotel and ZZzzzZZzzz.
