Its the 4th day of our trip to Yunnan, China and today we will be heading to the next city Dali. Dali is located about 300km from Kunming and it was 2200 meters above sea. Taking the bus along the mountains to Dali would take about 5 hours.

After breakfast, we visited a tea shop and introduced with the famous Pu-Er tea. The chinese has been drinking tea for centuries and there are a lot of famous tea in China. I'm still prefered to drink coffee instead of tea. As a fellow from Ipoh, what is more tempting than our very best Ipoh White Coffee.
Right after lunch, we start our journey to Dali. It was a long journey by bus. 300 Kilometers may not seems very far away but driving along the mountains is not a very pleasant journey.

Some village along the highway. Rice, beans, flowers farming is the source of living here.

We are about 2000 meter above sea and is still keep on climbing higher. I barely see any cloud after leaving Kunming. The Ultra-Violet(UV) ray here is much stronger than elsewhere. So, if you happen to visit this place someday, remember to bring along the skin care product.

We finally arrived to Yunnan's Dali late in the afternoon.

The Er-Hai(Ear Sea) of Dali. Er Hai is not a sea, it a ear-shaped huge lake in Dali. The reason it is called a sea is because during the ancient time, it is not likely that anyone from this place to see a real sea. It would takes several months journey just to get to the nearest sea shore. So, they call this lake as sea instead.

We had our dinner quite early today. This is the place where we had our dinner, the NiaSing, Ops... its actually Ah Seng Restaurant in Dali.

The restaurant was very nice. We are the earliest customer arrived and the workers is still setting up the buffet dinner there.

Yummy, this buffet surely better than what I had in the hotel every morning hehe. I was like talking about eating so frequent along the trip, guess I'm gonna gain a few more Kgs when I get back to home.
Right after the dinner, we check in into the hotel. We stayed in the Ancient Old City in Dali. It was the main attraction in Dali at night so it would be very convenience for us to walk around during the night.

A scenic in the mini garden at the hotel.
After a nice shower, what else would be better than to have a walk around the famous Ancient Old Town of Dali.

Wah, so beautiful. I could see snow on the peak of the mountain now. Yeah, I'm so San-Pah, never see snow before, I mean natural snow la. So i just can't help myself than to take a few shots on the snow mountain.

The Ancient Old City in Dali.

There are lots of shops along the street. You could be buying non-stop here but the products are basically repetitive.

The place was most beautiful when night fall. Lightings are everywhere along the street and more and more tourist flooding the area.

Instead of local products, there are also a portion on the street selling imported or branded stuff. Well, imported stuff in China isn't cheap though. If it was branded and it is cheap, most likely it was not a genuine item.

There's also Foreigner Street which consist of Coffee Shop and bars where you can seat and relax which enjoy a cup of your favourite coffee or beer here with friends. Somehow, I liked this place so much.
Oh ya, did I mentioned that it was pretty windy here. The XiaGuan area of Dali is known as the 'City of Wind'. So, there may be strong wind blowing during the evening. And when night fall, the temperature would drop up to 10 degrees C and may be quite cold.
Well, it the end of another day of our trip and our trip has already completed half of it. I started to feel some exhaustion, probably I still couldn't mix up with the highland environment here.
