We are born Linguish

Being in a country of many race and languages, we are naturally borned linguish. Many malaysians speak more than one language while it is common that we find someone who speaks three or four or even more language.

My Language
When I was a little kid, my mother speaks Hokkien while my dad speaks Cantonese. I have neighbors who are malays where I always play with. By then, I could understand these three languages.
Today, these is the language I know;
Cantonese (good)
Malay (good)
English (good)
Mandarin (not very good)
Hokkien (Not very good)
Practice made perfect, the first 3 language is what I use on my daily life, so I certainly have no problem to communicate with it. While Hokkien and Mandarin is a very rare used language, it was kind of getting out of my brain little by little.

My Wife speak.
My wife was a Teochew nang, she is fluent in Teochew as well as Hokkien and so as Mandarin. She only start learning Cantonese when she got out from her hometown for her college.

My Son...
Well, he ain't speak yet as of now. But well, being born in a multi language family, I guess he would have tough time to understand so many different language but kids brain are powerful in catching up new things. Hope he could digest all that.
